How should I prepare for my treatments with Dr. Su?

Dr. Su specifies each treatment plan and each treatment based on the level of response and patient feedback. Patients are encouraged to eat something before treatment.

Also it is important to wear either loose fitting clothes or bring a change of clothes (t-shirt/shorts) which will allow access up to the knees and elbows as well as the areas that need treatment.

How long are treatments?

The initial consultation will be approximately 15 minutes. This will allow for both you and Dr. Su to go over your case based off of your new patient intake form. It is highly recommended that patients fill out their new patient intake forms before arrival to make the most of that time.

The electronic link for the form is found on the confirmation e-mail which is sent for the consultation. Each treatment is approximately 30 minutes to balance effective needle retention time with your daily schedule.

Can I use my HSA/Flex Spending to pay for treatment?

You can use either to pay for your treatment plans at Acupuncture North Clinic. If you need a superbill that includes CPT and IDC 10 codes, that can be e-mailed to you after each treatment.

This can also be used to send into your insurance plan if you have out of network coverage for acupuncture.
